HudsonCounty60 is 60-second unscripted Instagram docuseries that features different local Hudson County businesses in a series of videos each week. Hosted and created by Ashley Hearon-Smith, and directed by SanMartin Garcia, the fast-paced show includes interviews and giveaways.
The show was created out of a true love for our community. We want to show people what an amazingly diverse area we live and thrive in, filled with so many new and existing businesses that are often overshadowed by our neighbor to the east. Our goal is to highlight the best businesses, restaurants, bars, people, events and stores in order to show there are just as many amazing things happening on our side of the Hudson.
We feel a huge sense of responsibility to our community— we love to highlight it’s ever changing landscape by featuring the old classics and the new kids. We aim to use every episode and post to help build a sense of community that spans beyond Instagram.

With 10 years of Television, Film and Web Programming production experience (Martha: The Martha Stewart Show, Wendy Williams), Ashley Hearon-Smith is well versed in producing fun content, while being informative. Along with her Hosting and Acting background, she is native Hudson County-er.
SanMartin Garcia
Director, Cameraman & Editor
Director SanMartin Garcia is a graduate of New York Film Academy, and has worked on webseries and short films (Adult-ish Season 3, Ozymandias). A Director, Writer, Director of Photography and Editing, he’s not only a master storyteller, but an expert of the 60 second narrative.
